A Dachshund Pup

A dachshund pup with a nose so cold
A floppy ear and a lively soul
Her sleek tail wags in the air so high
Full of life and so ready to try

She loves to explore and sniff around
She loves to play and just loves the sound
Of laughter and joy that fills the air
For this pup, life is joyous and fair

She loves to cuddle and be a pet
Though sometimes she can get quite upset
Her nature is so kind, calm and sweet
And always deserves the finest treat

From the day she first opened her eyes
She brought love and joy into our lives
Our dachshund pup is so full of life
A happy companion, a cure for strife
